Beginner's Drawing Class - evening

PLEASE NOTE: CLASS IS FULL! For 30 years art instructor Mike Uriss has been teaching the basic precepts that have equipped artists for centuries.  In this six-week, relaxed, no-pressure course, learn techniques as simple as how to hold a pencil in order to get the best results for modeling, shading, and highlighting a drawing, and learn how to establish atmosphere and mood. The recommended list of supplies is as follows:

Graphite pencils: 2B, 4B, 6B, 2H (one of each)

Kneaded erasure (one)

Drawing paper (one pad, no smaller than 11” x 14”, no larger than 16"x20”)

Stick of compressed charcoal (one)

White charcoal pencil (optional)

Toned paper (various colors and sizes—optional)

Color pencils (various colors—optional)

White hard rubber erasure (optional)

Open to all.
