The 14th Annual Active Aging Fair is sponsored by Barrett-Johnson & Associates, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial, and by The Laurels of Charlottesville.
The Senior Center will showcase the resources available in our community to help seniors live life to the fullest. We expect to have more than 40 vendors and 200 plus attendees. Interesting speakers have been booked. Valuable door prizes and free reusable shopping bags will be given away. Dr. Ho’s Humble Pie Food Truck will also be on-site from 11:30 am-1:00 pm.

1:00 pm: Charlie Mas, an Associate Financial Advisor for Barrett-Johnson & Associates, a private wealth advisor practice of Ameriprise Financial, discusses “Creating Your Retirement Paycheck” 
2:00 pm: Dr. Brandy Patterson, Assistant Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at UVa will address “Aging and Your Heart.”  Dr. Patterson is a frequent presenter on NBC 29’s House Call
2:30 pm: Krista Carter, Marketing Director at the Laurels of Charlottesville will discuss “Skilled Care and the Active Aging Process”
3:00 pm: Elizabeth Meade Howard will discuss her new book “Aging Famously: Follow Those You Admire to Living Long and Well”
