Legacy Giving - Robey Society
The Robey Legacy Society recognizes individuals who have remembered the Senior Center in their will or through another planned giving method.
The Society is named in tribute to Frances Jean Robey, who left her entire estate to our Center. Although Jean was not a Senior Center member, she was touched by the stories a friend shared about the Center’s impact on her life and the community. She was not a woman of great wealth, but had led a modest life and planned well for her retirement. Ultimately, Jean valued what the Senior Center did for thousands of her friends and neighbors in our community.
Jean’s legacy was paramount in building our current facility that we have enjoyed since 1991. Today, her gift and story inspires others to include the Center in their estate plans.
Planned gifts to the Senior Center can be made in many forms.
• Charitable Remainder Trusts
• Gift Annuities
• Insurance Policy Beneficiary
• Living Trust
• Real Estate or other Property
• Retirement Plan (IRA) Beneficiary
All planned gifts are placed in the Elizabeth A. Seabrook Endowment Fund to ensure the long-term success of our Senior Center. There is no minimum amount required for membership in the Robey Legacy Society and your membership may remain anonymous if you choose.
