Lifelong Learning Courses and Workshops in Fall 2008 Senior Center Inc. Senior Center Inc. is a non-profit activity center that aims to involve, enrich and empower seniors and serve as a resource and asset to our community. As part of programming, we offer many new and recurring programs to members and guests and host free and open community events. We expanded our paid courses and workshops in 2006 to include targeted lifelong learning programs designed specifically for adults over 50 as a means to fill gaps in community offerings and/or to provide programs at a reasonable cost. Our main courses and workshops are in the areas of language development, art and enhancing technology skills. Program Registration To register for a program please call (434) 974-7756 or visit our Front Desk at 1180 Pepsi Place, Charlottesville, Virginia 22901 by the date requested. Registration is a commitment for payment as all of the lifelong learning courses and workshops have minimum numbers for the instructor to offer the program. Specific dates for registration and enrollment minimum appears under each section. You will be called if we do not reach our contract number and can not offer the class as scheduled. Plan to pay for the course/workshop at the first meeting. For further information email molly@seniorcenter.org. |
