Falun Gong
Falun Gong Introductory Workshop  Quarterly, usually 6:15 - 8:00 p.m.
Try this method to energize your body and quiet the mind by this
ancient Chinese practice in this workshop led by Joshua Li, MD, PhD. Based
on the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance,
the five exercises of Falun Gong quickly open up the body’s energy
channels and enable energy to circulate smoothlywhile purifying the body
and providing relief from stress and tension. The movements are simple and
easy to learn, and suitable for people of all ages and levels of fitness.
The exercises are very flexible, and can be done anytime, anywhere, and

To deepen skills, join our weekly practice sessions after participating
in an introductory workshop offered at the Center by UVA Research
Physician Xudong "Joshua" Li, PhD and MD. Also, check-out the new Falun
Gong text book in our library "Zhuan Falun". Graciously donated by our
instructor Joshua! During months without a workshop, visit a practice
