Money Matters 1

Wednesday, June 6, 2018 | 10:30am - 12:00pm

Do you get a little uncomfortable, maybe even queasy, when you think about your finances? Even if you have a handle on them, do you ever question a decision or wonder if you could be savvier about money? Rest assured that you are not alone. And thanks to a new three-year strategic partnership between CFA Institute and the Center, help is at hand.

The Financial Wellness Series, launching in June, will offer specialized financial education to area seniors at all income levels and stages of life—pre- or post-retirement. The goal is to help people become better stewards of their own resources by increasing their financial understanding.

Money Matters 1—Becoming Resource-FULL with the Help of Benefits & Peace of Mind Savings—is designed for those struggling to make ends meet on a fixed income. Buck Klintworth, portfolio manager with Chase Investment Counsel Corporation, facilitates this series.

The class will be offered again on Tuesday, June 12, from 5:00–6:30 pm.

Open to all.
